Honestly Im ready for the place to close but dont want to be that guy who left a good paying job. Im not a vet so i dont have any infatuation that some of you older guys have for the milk industry. Im just ready to move on with my life already

Original poster, you do you, don't worry or think but what about a compensation the others are going to get, more than likely they won't get anything, in the meantime you get a new job that's not going under, best advice don't go into dairy again!

Don't worry, the government is there to protect you.
You pay taxes to it to protect you and do things for you.
Justice department can smell the stinky pile of comments coming from both companies and is investigating.
It also appears that a new committee was applied to be created for the equity holders the argument is valid. It is likely the equity committee is approved will result in different outcomes to this situation.
You should while employed be looking into building something that you can build for yourself so you can rely on yourself in the years to come.
