Severance Package, TPP

When your Sears store closes and you’re on severance package otherwise known as (transition pay package TPP)
I know you’re not supposed to work during the package but will Sears find out if you do??????

There most certainly is a rule and it will be in your severance agreement. Again, whether they have the resources to check on it is another matter. A friend of mo e was a long time GM and I tried to hire him the minute his store closed but he showed me his severance paperwork.

Whether its true or not true, do you think they have enough money to check on anyone?

There is no such rule.

Your paperwork will say that your severance will end when you find a job. You are suppose to tell them when you do. There could be some penalty if you don't but not sure how hard they are going to check up.
