Lieing is the only way they know how to deal with it. They haven't been trained to handle layoffs empathetically. It's not like they are doing it to be cruel. This is a company that needs to be retrained on both onboarding and "offboarding," (stat) for both the sake of the company's reputation and the welfare of their employees.

This company very bad to their employees, they did not even give effort to relocate some talented employees to other departments . The company should feel ashamed!!!
I was just told on Thursday Feb 6th my position was eliminated. i was under m&r, but still worked with c&s- total bull ... but there were a few top people laid off too.i enjoyed my job too :(
I suspect they are cherry picking the members as well as kicking awesome talent to the curb
Not all of C&S but all of C&S management in Western NY are gone! Thanks to Tom, it’s not a secret that he really hated the idea of community and state
You are absolutely correct with this post. If their lips are moving, then they are lying!! Most unethical upper management I have ever seen. I have named them “The Pinocchio Bunch.”
