Has anyone heard if the pharmacies (particularly Diplomat and Briova SP's) that Optum has recently acquired will be hit? Makes me nervous to be bought by this company seeing all of the layoffs thus far.

There were 300 or more people cut from Briova in December.
Yes absolutely but it just may take some time. Avg 2 yrs. After they review in detail all areas that can be cut absorbed internally. Every entity that has been bought by uhg goes through it.
Yes, about 80% of optum opex is on the Rx side. Guess where most of the cost savings will come.
I’m curious about this also. I was just moved over to Optum from UHG.
