I have been a member of a union in a previous job during my college days and they saved me from a manager that despised me and tried firing me a couple of times. I called the union and went back to work. This company isn't looking out for us American employees. The government isn't looking out for us either. It's up to us to stand together and look out for ourselves and each other. The IT industry espeically needs a union now more than ever.

Most Americans can barely even form a bowling league let alone have real worker rights like almost every other real country. the US empire was simply a college of corporations. A business entity.

Unions are the reason Americans have a 5 day work week, have paid holidays, get paid time and a half for overtime, and have sick pay. All of the American work force has benefited from organized labor, whether they contributed or not or whether they are aware or not. The weakening or collective bargaining is the weakening of individual employee rights. The Republicans have tried to pass several bills eliminating overtime or moving it to the employer can give you a comp day instead of time and a half. The Republicans tried to pass bills that give employers the right to eliminate paid holidays and sick time. It is the unions that lobbied states and congress that prevented the passage of such bills. Pro unions is not being a “commie”, it’s understanding history. The employer was completely exploited until organized labor fought back. Corporations keep trying to move the needle backwards, particularly through the GOP, by convincing Americans they don’t need unions, the law will protect them. If you believe that then you don’t understand how corporations lobby the law makers to create law in their favor. The only antagonist to this is the union lobby.

Not surprising how brain washed USA-er employees were. They liked getting screwed. Profits were unpaid wages

For Union! specially for IT folks. We reach a point where we have to do something to protect ourselves. "United State of Indian" is not over statement in IT field.
We lose our jobs to offshore outside USA and onshore HIB due to cooperate greed. We have NO say on anything from offshoring jobs to fair wages. In the 1950s, a typical CEO made 20 times the salary of his or her average worker. In 2018, CEO pay at an S&P 500 Index firm soared to an average of 361 times. Despite Optum making record earnings and corp tax cut gift from the government, they layoff staff, cut employee benefits and give tiny or no merit increase, and tell you that you should be happy to have a job.

Keep the jobs in USA! For Union!

Unions do not seem to be picking up any traction, on this website; however in states where one has no rights to work, like in the Southern United States, unions are starting makes sense.
