Racist company, Caucasians know everything. SWN deserves a bankruptcy.
Enjoying the show, must refill my popcorn.

as long as BW is at the helm, this company has no chance of survival. swn just needs to do as IBM did and jettison their ALL of the executive management team and hire Richard lane to come back and right the ship. will be painful as he will get rid of the BW supporters and the apparatchiks,

Re-org pending. Layoffs expected next quarter. This was a primer. With our $2 buck “Bill” at the helm. He has steered us to the iceberg. Anyone want to help me arrange the chairs on the top deck?

I posted something about HR this morning. Now the post is gone. Can people delete these posts? Trying to figure out who got the ax in HR? They need to let go of a lot of useless people but they never seem to fire anyone.

Meanwhile, SWN is paying huge money to contractors DPS and MAO to perform landwork largely unsupervised. As an outsider, my first clue as to impending RIF was the inventory of permits already in-hand. Sorry to all affected, but your problem began in late 2014 when you purchased the CHK position without due-diligence.

Nice package still. 2 weeks per year, paid invested stock at 2.11 price. I have pile of operations work left undone that directly effects cost left undone. Co workers trying to figure out how to get it done without me there. A little surprised with amount of work I got laid off but not unprepared or unexpected giving managers trying to cover them self’s to avoid getting fired. Off to my next interview today, should be starting new job next week. SWN was great place to work but has become a nightmare the last year or so. Good luck and best wishes to all my former SWN family!

“The layoffs were horrific. Walking into the building in the middle of the winter, in the dark, and seeing so many people leaving under my watch—that hit me really hard.” - (BW in the fall of 2019)

Yeah.... uh huh, I’m sure it did, Bill. I’m sure it did!

IQ: What did you do to support the remaining employees?

BW: A lot of people had lost confidence in the company. We had to rebuild credibility by setting out a very clear path and then delivering on every single thing we said we would do.

Our company’s official formula, our mantra of sorts, is “The right people doing the right things.” So at a time when we had to conserve money, we invested in leadership development for our leaders, many of whom had never been through an economic downturn like this before. It was important to help them build resilience, deal with what they were feeling and what they were thinking, so they could lead their people through the transition.

Nice stock bump from yesterday’s strategic actions. Quick math shows we will be above $4/share if another 1050 get laid off..... wait, that’s more employees than SWN has left.

SWN has laid off thousands of employees and their stock price has been in single digits for what, 4 or 5 years now? You viewed yourself as a top 1% employee (not sure how you come up with a stat like that) so you decided you didn't need a backup plan. That's a hard lesson to learn. Always have a backup plan and never think that you're not replaceable. I'm sorry you got laid off but everyone should have seen this coming, and it's not over. Be prepared!

Wow. The first time in a long time that it I’m not heading into work, because I was a casualty of yesterday’s RIF event. Didn’t really see it coming, and to be honest I’m still in shock. I viewed myself as a top 1% employee, and I didn’t have a backup plan. I haven’t figured out all the severance stuff yet either. Still in shock about all of this. I left so early yesterday, that I don’t even know which departments were affected. Anyone else who’s still there care to share more details? Thanks.
