Thread regarding CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield layoffs

People, start looking for new jobs

We all know that more layoffs are coming as early as this month. There is no better time to start looking for a new job than now. It is always, always easier to find a new job while you already have one. I can't emphasize that enough. If you are smart, you'll start looking.

Get out while you can. CEO is in so far over his head and flailing trying to prove he knows what he is doing. Morale is terrible. Everything is a priority so nothing is a priority. The place is a disaster and getting worse.

So all these layoffs and cost cutting measures to purchase two losing businesses? This is insane. Medicaid purchases of University of MD Medical System and Trusted for their losing businesses is nonesense. Less than 100,000 members purchased, again - losing money businesses. How is this a good idea? Oh, let's cust cost in revenue areas to fund losing businesses. Sounds smart. The leadership needs to be flushed - maybe a proven CEO a little older than 40 years old would help - he is also a recent college graduate. wtf!

Guess layoffs are the only way to pay for the purchase of 2 new companies and all the technology "partners".
