Today Feb. 3,2020 I went to work , HR was one by one walking employee’s out the building. I too was walked out after 10 years of service, I was gave a 18 week package. Why did they not do this Friday. Every one I saw work out was over 40 years of age . And they got the Nerve to say I can re-apply for other jobs that’s the joke. For over 6 months we have been training the employees in Pune India to talk our jobs . The managers and directors him right now stop for anything no matter how small it is to have a valid reason to choose the older people in the downsizing. Yes ADP is downsizing and the public do no know. Department: COS location: Alpharetta Georgia date Feb 3,2020 . This department will be closing down all jobs will be send over to Pune India . ADP publicly analogist an increase in jobs there is an increase but the jobs are in Pune India not in the United States they taken all the jobs and send them overseas they make an average of 4000 a year. ADP is not doing well all the big clients are jumping ship they are laying us off downsizing but I keep it all on the down low. Everyone in COS Department look for job now .

For poster: Post ID: @3pkc+13ku8whC What were the IT Security issues that were announced? Was this related to the move to India?
I left ADP voluntarily at the end of 2018. I used to work in COS. I feel for all my former coworkers.
I hate what ADP has become. So glad I left. If you haven't been looking for a new job, you should be.
Corporate responsibility includes treating employees like they are people and not just a balance sheet liability :( Many companies get that. ADP does not.
I missed the big announcement about IT system security changes....security compromised... what was that?
India is a cesspool. Seriously. 1 billion people still defecate in the streets. Look it up. It is an awful place and and filled with a lot of the worlds telephone spam call centers. I guess that is why Carlos and gang are moving so many jobs there! It is a true shame how he cannot see his mistakes or more correctly just doesn't care because of his own greed what a terrible decision this is for so many employees, clients, and long term success of ADP. I guess he will indeed be the guy at the helm when ADP goes the way of KODAK, the typewriter, and so may others that may perilous mistakes betting on the wrong thing.
COS = Comprehensive Outsourcing Services. Ironic, huh?
I too was let go 26 years of service and turned 50 a few months before. Got same severance package as someone with 10 or 15 years service. Was told my position was being eliminated yet received email few weeks before showing all the new hires, off shore. All the tenured employees are almost or will be gone. Service has gone to hell. Clients waiting months for issues to be resolved. ADP you will get what you pay for! Corporate greed!!!
India is a 3rd world country with human rights (Caste System) animal rights (fighting) issues. Ever look at their transportation? Trains with people riding on the roof derailments cause 100's of deaths, ferries tip over with 100's of deaths.......in a war with Pakistan since 1947 and ADP outsourced all of the IT services there! Genius!!!! .....and then last week, the big announcement about IT system security changes....security compromised, I wonder if it has anything to do with outsourcing our gigantic IT system to a 3rd world "sh*t hole" country? We should have setup shop in Haiti! LOL
I was with ADP for 20 years. I was in the lay off in 2004. ADP only cares about their growth and profits. Their employees are of no value.
I feel the pain of current employees who feel trapped to work at ADP. I was laid off 2 years ago. It still hurts because it was such a wonderful company when I joined. I feel for everyone going through layoffs right now. It’s tough but you are much better off without ADP. There is life after ADP. Mr. Rogers said, “often when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.”
Keep going! We are rooting for you!
And I just had a recruiter call me about a 6 month contract there. Thanks, no thanks.
ADP doesn't care about their employees. They have been taking our jobs to India for years. They offered verp to employees with, 20, 30, and 40 years of service. Most people can't reapply for jobs at ADP. They are offered jobs as contractors, making half of what they did, with no benefits. ADP have given their larger client base to third party vendors to service. This is all part of their Make America Great Again process. They know the older workers will have problems finding new employment, so they do this. American jobs are going to India in alarming numbers. But hey, unemployment in the US has dropped. Yeah right.
I heard about some in National Accounts yesterday, unfortunately I don't believe its age, but salary that they are looking at with our new offshore associates being paid much less, yes and having much less knowledge, we stand out and my coworker that was let go, was one of the hardest workers I know,
ADP is not the company we signed up with years ago.
So sad to read. ADP is not the same company it was years ago. The executives have totally sold their soul to Wall St. and they seem hell bent on forcing everyone out with any seniority. All in the name of juicing earnings per share just a little more. The executives will all eventually jump ship and land with their golden parachutes, damn everyone else.
I am so sorry. Carlos is smoke and mirrors. Town hall in a few weeks and all (the remaining) will hear is how we are Winning as One. Such b—s—. I’m hoping that all that have gone before me wind up with better gigs! I’m not fooling myself to think I’ll be safe.... working in contacts, resume; etc. I just hope I have someone who can refer me in somewhere - it’s tough out there when applying blind. Good luck everyone!
What department in COS?
They are targeting people with 4 years and more . The whole Department is going over to Pune India. It’s a lie when they say they doing good .
Yikes. that is AWFUL!! Hate that friggin company. WTH!
So very sorry!
Very sad. Sorry that you are going through this. ADP has certainly lost its way and is indeed losing clients through its newly acquired and acquiring low-cost and foreign workforces that lack quality and commitment. Very inept and very strange.
