Thread regarding Optum layoffs

TDP program layoffs?

Curious if any one has heard of tdp associates or alumni being laid off as opposed to being terminated due to performance, which I’ve seen

They have. People with 5s on MAP year over year. If you're expensive, they don't want you. The older ones were cheap labor too in comparison to the young ones.

If you're earning less than a TDPer than the joke is on you...

"TDPers are the last people that should be getting laid off. They are paid the least, have the ability to move to a different position, and are the future of the company." - Guess again about the pay. They pay them more than you think. So much that it would upset many who have been working there for a while.

If TDPers start getting laid off it's really time to re-evaluate UHG/Optum. I personally wouldnt be worried. Your managers are more likely to be laid off.

The attrition rate is so high that I doubt they would need to do it en masse.
