Does anyone have any insight to the 3 conference calls held this past Friday? I have heard everything from Florida store managers being laid off to multiple stores being ran by one store manager.

Its true, one of the goals is to reduce the number of black mgrs., They were forced into admitting discrimination against blacks in EEOC compliant and was fined 10 million dollars. Now they can get rid of the minority mgrs. under this job reduction scheme. Everything is going down this week.
There are some GMs and AGMs that were fired and some GMs that will take over more than one store.
Sadly they have a previous Walmart executive running things right now and eventually BP will be just like them.

They’re saving payroll getting rid of a manager and putting that work on another manager giving him a raise but not as much as the other guy was making so still saving on payroll.
