What a crazy environment where everyone tries to scare everyone else into quitting so that the person doing the scaring wont get laid off. What an insane place ! How are people supposed to focus with all this crud going on ? Seriously "leaders". Step up your game and actually lead.
It's not just one person or one team. It's happening all over AS. That's embarrasing AS "leaders".

What is TWG?
So did anyone else hear about TWG members being told last week to find another job because their jobs will be moving overseas? Plus, there is the group of classic Interact team members on the tech side who are also getting cut if they aren't assigned to DW. Tip-toeing around the office hoping no one notices me so I don't get the ax!
Pretty soon HDQ will only have Managers and Directors while their entire team is shipped to low cost locations. This is why these guys get the big bucks- Ship your jobs and keep theirs.
Either way, creating discord and encouraging your team members to quit is c-ap leadership
i think thats accurate as well, there are many holding out for severance and why wouldnt they ? they put in a great deal of time only to get the shaft
The last response underscores what Managers are doing. It’s everyone for themselves and take advantage of your higher position while sacrificing your team.
I doubt your delivery manager is getting a retirement check from Sabre - there is no such thing. Maybe he/she is old enough to go ahead and draw their social security; or maybe he/she is drawing a pension from AA if they formerly worked there; or maybe he/she is drawing money from their 401k. Sabre doesn't have a pension, so there isn't a retirement check coming. Whatever the case, at least he/she is being upfront with you and anyone currently in the US needs to be aware and prepared for the day they are given notice that their job is going overseas. Sounds like your manager is holding out for a severance instead of just retiring. That's the smart thing to do because it will be coming.
My Delivery Manager is passing time and getting retirement check from Sabre, 3 years before he/she retires. This was communicated to us with instructions to align DPM goals.
True story! Directors and Managers are throwing their employees under the lay-off bus to keep their jobs. New strategy - Hire slaves from South America who will never ask questions. From CSS Delivery - DR to GPM - CdC, they are creating the South American Nexus to keep themselves safe. This is a SWAMP

Can still hear him saying (in that gruff voice), "If we remove just one olive from each in-flight dinner salad we'll save thousands!"
Reminds me when RC (VP at AS) was applying left and right for positions with our customers. We heard from one customer that he was cut for his evident lack of knowledge and ethics.
@ehr+13gcvhNJ 🤣 LMBO <– will that get dashed?
@OP+13gcvhNJ "AS leaders" - sounds to be a good idea.
Now an Anecdote,
Once an AS director(i mean ex-director’s friend) wanted to be in a meeting/presentation with an Airline’s visiting Principal Architect & his team. In fact, he to wanted open the conversation in which he had hardly any role to play. The host Architect was little puzzled and asked the director why he wanted to be in this technical meeting while he had better/greater things to-do. Director(S), being the frank guy he is, said he wanted to meet this Principal Architect so that he can send him a linkedin invite. This humble great leader then ended his sentence with inspiring words of “you never know”
