If you can take a decent lump sum and you're not you truly are ignorant. Don't trust the Union leadership. Keep in mind, the more members they have, the more secure their jobs are. Remember the last contract when they rammed the Obamacare accordances down our throats? Calculate those extra hundreds of dollars a month multiplied by the years. It's tens of thousands of dollars per member. That cost was brought to you solely by Union leadership and the Democrats. They're comrades to the end.

To the oldtimer telling the young guy to show respect. Why would he? You old timers are past retirement age and still milking the job. You are s—ing the company dry. The agreement was to set you up for retirement not to set you up with a huge pay day along with a life long well payed job. You old timers never retire and why would you? Easy cush good paying job. The company sees what you old timers are doing and they have no incentive to keep that going. You say the company is greedy, you old timers are too! And let's talk about the corruption i constantly see when there are job openings. You have old timers lobby for their old buddies in lesser payed positions to be hired into higher payed positions they cannot do over more qualified younger people. The compnay suffers as these old timers get to the new job and have no motivation to learn because they can't get fired and even if they do it's a huge pay day. I got lucky and got in at the tail end of pensions. I have one, whoope doo, I still had at least 14yrs left to be able to retire. However you old timers along with the company drove it into the ground. You don't care though, you got yours and that's all that matters to you. I got tired of the company and bounced. Best decision I ever made!

What does it mean when you have a Union Steward (in Tampa) who retires right before the so called bankruptcy rumor for March 2020 and is not yet even old enough to actually collect their retirement? I think that's called getting out before the ball drops. They know what's coming down the line, especially with no FL contract yet!

The person that thinks it got in bad shape because of the older techs. Sorry, that's the only reason the company has gone bankrupt yet. We knew our jobs from working for a real company " Verizon " and GTE , the mistake was hiring upper managers and new employees that had no clue on what or how to do anything, Its funny that us old farts had our Sh** together and the old unions stood up for the employees that worked and not protect the one that didn't.
The reason Frontier is in such bad financial shape is because I’d the greed of the older employees. All you did was take take take. Give me a pension. Give me free medical. Your greed helped bankrupt the company. Now look at us! Are you happy now?
To that 2 yr employee- kiss my a**, wait till you get older and learn respect. We deserve our pension that was offered to us, for you it's easy to hire young inexpensive employee that thinks everything should be given to you.

As a 2 year employee with no pension I’m p-ss-d because of several things! I have to withdraw my 401k once every two months to pay for this expensive a** parking, all the d*m old employees take up all the street parking because of fake handicap signs(can’t wait for y’all to retire! The 5-10 year babies just complain all day everyday and don’t realize the real struggle of making $13 hr doing the same job! I just hope they scare all of y’all into retirement and leave the remaining 8 of 100 here to retire! Rant done!

If you are eligible for retirement and you haven’t put in your paperwork yet there is no help for you and you get what you deserve.

If your wrong, we are very smart by getting out now. If you would try to read on other companies that go into bankruptcy- be lucky with all lump sum or little $1500 to 2000 a month and they make money on all your interest. 30yr plus employees run and save your pension for you and your family. Please don't believe the courts are looking out for you...
