Did they layoff the applications department recently as well? I just saw the the following review on Glassdoor?

I worked at 2U full-time for more than a year

Pros

Unlimited PTO, never bothered by upper level management.

Cons

After being told no more layoffs were coming 2U laid off an entire department. 2U stated to employees that would be resigning from 2U if they did not sign an offer letter with another company. Planned this layoff for over a year and failed to ensure the employees were transitioned the proper manner.

Advice to Management

Sell the company.

The lawmakers argue that revenue-share agreements — in which OPMs receive a percentage of tuition revenue in exchange for covering the costs of launching an online program — could violate federal law.
Hard to argue against this when 2U is taking 60 percent of the tuition. Which students unknowingly are paying through federal loans they are taking out to pay for their tuition.
