I saw on the bid sheets where all the relief were cut. I heard it from someone high up in signal that techs and foreman are going to be thinned out and maintainers are expected to do more tech work.

The difference between maintainer and tech is about $10 per hour and a commercial fcc license known as the GROTL plus a white hat instead of the lemon head.
One wipes the other doesn't.
