Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Vena

Put in for a 2 year extension to his contract with UP, and was turned down. I take this as good news. Let the countdown begin..... 10 more months!

They are doing everything correct to push stock price up, but they cannot predict/control the market or economy. DOW, SP500, etc indicates that a recession is on the way, possibly already underway. The market reflects what they think will play out within 6 to 12 months.

I dont care if it's true or not. It's still a comforting thought for Mr. V—na to be gone in 10 months. Oh I can't forget about Fritz! He needs to leave too.

When he came out and said they would have done all the cuts possible by the end of 2020 and after that it would be hard pressed to find more areas to cut starting/following 2021 he signed his termination papers, he’s got his blood money now time to disappear if only he’d take Mr.9% and the rest of the PSR crew with him. What’s left after this is over should be interesting to see.

He came in to do the dirty work, so Lance wouldn’t get blood stains on his white shirts. Once the purge is over, he’ll go crawl under a rock in Canada and count his money, trying not to look himself in the mirror.

Who/what is the source? If he leaves, he needs to take the ENTIRE leadership team with him. We need a new start with people with real degrees and actual experience instead of those that have the right friends. This place is becoming a fuking joke. What other Fortune 150 company has jokers like this running around?

10 months is too long. Fritz and the rest of them can leave with him. I dont give a damn what he says in any townhall or earnings call. It's always been production/profit over safety. There's not a single damn one that's done anything positive for its employees. The employees knew what PSR was and what it meant for them. It was unbelievably stupid for Team Fritz to believe that PSR was going to be any different just because they were using a few of the principles. PSR was a bad idea and always favors the shareholders. You got that Lance???

His way isn’t working. They didn’t want to see the drop in revenue that they have.

Well if u look at the transcript of the conference call with investors the other day someone asked him what yard line he was on. He said he started on the 25 yard line and he hasn’t made it to midfield yet. So don’t get too hopeful 😆
