Web needs to do the right thing and close down now. Have people work from home. Something. The first reported case in Duval was in an assisted care facility just a few miles from the building. This is being mishandled so badly.
Human lives are more important than profit margins.
RE: "The medical clinic is closing as of Friday". I was in there this week. They are closed for temporary time only during the Work from Home process. They expect to reopen in a few weeks after most of us back in building. That was good news for me–the meds and medical care I get there is really helpful, especially now that my partner not working.
This place is selling out and shutting down. Does anyone have a term date AFTER June? (no). Why do any of you even hook your anchor to this sinking ship? It is pathetic to watch.

New federal guidelines: Avoid gatherings of 10 people
President Donald Trump is calling on the American public to avoid gatherings — even in their own homes — of 10 people or more and to avoid unnecessary travel and social visits. The measures recommended by the White House coronavirus task force also include working and schooling from home when possible and avoiding eating and drinking at bars and restaurants.
The new measures announced from the White House Monday afternoon are guidelines and not an official order, but members of the task force urged members of the public to heed them.

The fact that Web has not taken any action regarding this pandemic is absolutely disgusting. I'm sure it's a massive undertaking to figure out how to make WFH possible for the entire workforce. But this is too important to be considered an "all or nothing" situation. Those that are technologically able to work from home now should be permitted to do so - for both their own safety and the safety of others.
WAKE UP SHARON!!! Public health and safety is more important than business continuity. We can't support our customers if we're all sick, either.
It's clear Web lacks the infrastructure to make WFH happen. Kind of embarrassing for a tech company when the building next door, Availity, (an insurance company) can manage to get everyone working from home and we can't.
Now CDC recommends no groups of > 50 people for next 8 weeks. Hopefully management will listen.
They'll wait until someone at Web catches it to close the office. Mark my words.
Yeah, 2nd Floor looks like one of those " large gatherings " we are supposed to avoid.
Hearing lots of people coughing last week in cafeteria. Could be allergies, but IDK. Kind of risky working in open setting in new building now. Easy to spread stuff around.
