31 doesn’t have real concept of magnitude of disgruntled rank and file employees. Employees financial well-being has been damaged or destroyed. Employees should organize and stage a protest. At least an online petition to demand resignations and new outside leadership?

Oh.....they know! But they just don't care.
Why do you think they bought a campus out west with an executive parking lot with direct access to the executive building. Clearly they didn't want to have to see the peons everyday. Heck, when someone from the 31st floor gets on the elevator now, they probably hit floor 30 and walk up the stairs to the 31st floor. Once they get through this next round of layoffs, they will likely move everyone to floors 20 and lower so they can finally separate themselves from the peons.
Especially the rank & file employees who have been working crazy hours for months now with little to no thanks or recognition from management...and yet there’s highly paid engineers who have nothing to do but take long vacations or drink coffee downstairs.
I wasn't there, but it kind of feels like the last days of Enron.
