Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

Kroger makes sense to me as a possible buyout firm. Their pockets are certainly deep enough to do it. Just last week, Berkshire Hathaway took a stronger position in Kroger....and they are based in Omaha, which is what , a 100 mile radius of over half of Hy-vee''s stores.

But more significantly, Kroger is a huge partner with Instacart, which is run far better than Aisles Online will ever hope to be.

Kroger is only 2 ND to Walmart in terms of groceries. Over 100billion in revenue with only 10 billion debt. Kroger stock is top 3 to be buying right now. Kroger did a similar change in all of their stores years back. Walmart has tried to buy Hyvee for years. What ever happened to customers first. Ray Stewart and Charlie Bell told me years ago as long as I had superior customer service I would always have a job at Hy-Vee. I've been gone 6 yrs now and it was because I called out a crooked store director who later was let go. I grew up learning values and life lessons by the leaders of this company. Randy use to be a Christian man with honorable values now he will go down in history as the tyrant who k–led the best company in this world.

theres no way amazon touches us. maybe at an 11th hour fire sale but with our bloated supplier agreements and now having MORE wahlburgers!?!?

Is there any truth to Hy-Vee Corp buying Kroger stocks? I have heard lots of Kroger rumors

Kroger can not do it. They are bot a strong as you may think.

However, wonder how much debt Hy-Vee is currently carrying?

Its possible but not sure how probably and how that would even transpire.
All i say if that happens be prepared for ALOT of changes more than what we are seeing now.
