This question is for the current MRO and HyVee U students. How do you guys feel about the new changes. Do you still have a strong desire to become a store director or store manager? Did the store director pay cuts effect your future to stay with this company or to look for jobs outside of HyVee?

Do you think the new pay scale for store manager help with getting better store manager? What’s the point of being a store manager if you can make the same a assistant director or produce or meat manger.

I'm curious what Hy-Vee's game plan is for them anyway. I'm still a Director, but when they were going over the salary all the demoted Store Mangers were going to it was right about what I was making my last year as a Manager Of. With what I've heard the wage scale for Store Manager will be for those not grandfathered in to the top rate I don't know how they are going to talk Managers/Asst Directors into going to stores. Even the top end Store Manager salary is not worth the head ache for the pay.
