Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

No longer an employee company

They have become any other"corporate" operation. The top management has cost the company millions of dollars on stupid ventures ( all failures ) and the store level people who make them those BILLIONS are the ones to pay the price. Helpful Smile, not at the top. Employee owned, in name only.

I have worked for HyVee for 16 years. Part-time liquor and full time pharmacy. Then I get called in to the directors office and am told 'we need to cut hours and payroll'. Ok. I have worked since I was 13 for all kinds of independent places. I can readily supply information. And now a "corporation" that doesn't know how to conduct business says they are taking my full time hours to part time. Seriously?? Hy-Vee should really figure out how to run business!!
