CoC vs. Bankruptcy

Will the CoC contract survive a bankruptcy? Would there be risk of funds to pay CoC severances being tied up by a bankruptcy?

Oxy will need to sell off a whole heck of a lot! They way over payed for Anadarko around the same time oil fell and then corona hit and the oil trade war. I feel like they have hit that tipping point where they can not move forward. I hope they sale out. F U Oxy.

Oxy has dodged any near term bankruptcy with the dividend cut. In fact, I would bet that Oxy will sell as many assets and lay off as many people as necessary to prevent bankruptcy. CoC should be safe.

I don’t think anything survives bankruptcy.
