Aon is buying Willis Towers Watson, which means we might have to get used to calling Willis Tower something new, again. What do you think we should call it?

"To reiterate, for many it will always be the Sears Tower"
Your post was short enough that there is no need to reiterate your original point.
Most readers will not have forgotten your original statement by the time they finish reading a two or three sentence paragraph.

Unless they rename the other, it's not going to be called Aon.
I doubt it will be the Aon Tower. There’s already an Aon Center next to Millennium Park.
The Jenga Tower
I don't give a sh– what it's called.
Kmart Austrailia should buy Kmart from Tranformco
If sears could buy Aon, they could move back from Hoffman. It would be like the old Sears / Allstate. Then they could buy a stock brokerage like the old Dean Witter and start to piece together the old company again. The breaking up of the old behemoth to "unlock shareholder value" did not work out for the Sears part !
Many, including myself, will continue to refer to it as the Sears Tower.
As for renaming again, count on it. Much of the public at-large isn't attached to the current name. Figure on it being renamed. Most likely to Aon Tower, but maybe not. Question is will the public / media abbreviate it to A Tower or some variant. Time will tell.
To reiterate, for many it will always be the Sears Tower.
Hmmm.. when sears owned the building it was called Sears tower. I’m thinking it would be called Aon towers, or does that make too much sense?
