Thread regarding Neiman Marcus Group layoffs

Last Call For All Y’all...

Be thankful if you are getting laid off. The final nail has just been put in Neiman Marcus’s coffin in the shape of a soon to be severe recession if not depression, thanks to Covid-19.

This company BARELY survived the last one and is still hemorrhaging blood from 2008. 2020 will be the end of this t–d.

It’s like a fancy Kmart w/ Needless Markups. No one cares about this company. It’s slow death will be thought of as the luxury version of Montgomery Wards. No one will know or care of them in 10 years. Most millennials don’t know them already.

Bye Bye Neimans! I guess those famous chocolate chip cookies lost their luster.

NM digital sales does very well. Even if the stores failed, their online business will survive. They can easily become an online retailer. That's the likely direction they will head toward.
