If they'e moving all these people to Hartshorn, does that mean there will be layoffs in order to fit everyone?

Where is The Hartshorn building
The Hartshorn building is disgusting. Anyone moving from CA120 is in for a rude awakening. It’s so bad, the losers employed there tagged the elevator with graffiti.
Expensive real estate. People have been moved back and forth within close proximity for several years. It does not mean layoffs and never has, it means saving money without cutting jobs. Cutting jobs is not the first step. Some of those buildings are owned others are leased and shared with other companies.
There was a notice that the Optum CA120 eployees would be moving to another building. There is a bit of shuffling with 3 or 4 buildings involved. OP is probably thinking that this would be a good time to lay off people or layoffs planned will cause the company to require less space.
