We are going through a remodel to become a flagship store and corporate pulled basin and clothing from the plans half way through the process, now it's back to the drawing board to figure out what to do with that sales floor space that was already built and allocated for those departments

They just announced this morning that they are closing all the aisles online fulfillment facilities in the next 60 days. It should have been left in the stores where it started. The employees that shopped the orders were familiar with the customer and the customer trusted them to make choices for them. This trust and relationship was gone at the central warehouse. It was doomed from the time it was built. Another colossal waste of money.

Aisles Online is bleeding $$$. There's $15 profit on a $100 order. How do you pick, scan, tote, load, deliver in a $60k van for $15. The math never worked on this as any 5th grader could discern.

The one good thing they need to focus on is Aisles Online. It's the future, but it's WAYYYYY too inefficient currently. I can't imagine it actually turns a profit.

In urban areas, this should be centralized to a warehouse instead of paying individuals to walk around with a cart. I keep waiting for something to happen in this area, but nothing. Just more people walking around and shopping for orders.

How do we save this company. Get rid of Randy and get rid of all of his ideas. Fulfillment centers, clothing, market grills, basin and mark walburgers.
