Attention Board of Directors

Managers - Your pay is being cut. Your hours are getting cut. If you think you're safe, think again. There is not a single store that this mess has not affected. If you work in the fulfillment center or plan to. Don't. They are closing them. Unrealistic goals set by even more unrealistic men. This message is for the Board of Directors; trim the fat from the top starting with Jeremy, Randy, Jay, Donna. Don't be afraid to lose your job over this because you could lose it over anything right now. Oh, don't forget that if we go under your stock is gone. It’s pretty bad when stores and directors have names for the people in the office. Darth Vader, Aplington a–hole , Dwight is rolling over in his grave. If only they would have listened to Chuck Robertson , Ken Waller, Ron Pearson, Richard Mitchell, Hy-Vee was always profitable by not jumping into things that were trends at the time. In fact the founders were comfortable with that. I can honestly say I really can’t afford to shop at Hy-Vee anymore. Especially when you can save 30 to 40% by shopping Fareway. The only problem is replacing Randy. there is nobody that can replace him. With the exception of Nate Stewart he still treats his people very well. And my long career I have never seen directors so nervous about their jobs. Wake up Hy-Vee, you are burning your people out.

Jeremy G. Is a Just like Randy. I’ve met him a few time in my career at HyVee. That guy has no class at all. Back in the day when HyVee cooperate would walk store they would thank the employees for the work they do. They would shake everyone’s hand and introduce themselves. They made us feel like we were owners of HyVee. That everyone had the autonomy to make choices to improve our sales and customers experience. That worked for 80 years. Now cooperate comes to store expecting us to kiss their a– when they come to our stores. They tell us we don’t know how to do our jobs. They want us to follow all of their direction to a T or get fired. Guess what we are following your direction because you know best. You say you had to take our autonomy away because we couldn't make the right moves. Guess what we are now failing with your direct leadership style. Someone needs to take your guys autonomy away. You have burned this ship to the ground. Way to go! You will always be remembered as the randy and his yes men that drove this ship down. Truly legend at HyVee as the biggest failing staff every
