Many at Fox also being let go today in Mastering/Servicing. Surprised it hasn't hit the trades yet...been going on over at FOX since 10am this morning.

How does the consolidation affect the Burbank Center for the Cable Networks?
I wanted to send you this note to inform you that today we announced Walt Disney Television will be consolidating all of its distribution operations in one central hub in Woodlands, Texas. We have done so to reduce the overall enterprise’s distribution real estate footprint from 8 to 2 locations, with ESPN Bristol serving as back-up.
We informed your union representative earlier, and intend to work with your Union to offer a fair severance/retention bonus for those who stay through the date of consolidation, which will not occur until late this year for New York, and well into next year for Prospect. We intend to meet with your Union leadership as soon as possible, and have attached the information we sent them.
We understand that this is unwelcome news for you, but we need to run our business in the most efficient manner possible in this competitive environment. I ask for your patience while we work with your Union on a fair package.
