Just heard from my DM that IBO is expected later this month. I don’t know exactly when as he says he doesn’t have much information either. He thinks he is also going to be affected. More restructuring and job cuts. I don’t see how much more they can cut in store. I’m guessing the leads.

My Sears has an ASM for softlines. A zone supervisor for Hardlines and one for SST. We have a coordinator for jewelry and one for footwear. We also have 3 softlines leads and a AP Manager. I think we will definitely get hit with cuts.
Our kmart still has an ASM, 2 area leads and a LPM. So of the IBO is in the works, wonder who will be left.
Let's see......ummm they can cut the HASSLE position and all AP!!!
AP pretty much useless:(
We still offering IDB over at 1171 come get it while u still can
Sears still has leads??? Kmart pretty much lost those years ago. The few that had any leads only kept them based on the store's volume.
based on the stores sales volume, 2 employees per shift is enough.

From a prior thread (https://www.thelayoff.com/t/U5Dr2mD):
Ideal Business Organization.
It means the number of Regions and RVPs, Districts and DMs, and then the store structure for different volume levels of sales $ (e.g. how many ASMs, whether they need ASMs or Zone Supervisors, how many leads, etc.)
IDEAL BUSINESS ORGANIZATION
What is IBO?
