Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

We’re all aware the landscape has changed in retail. We’re also aware Randy has lost the faith of the employees. You can tell me how lucky we are to be open, but screw that. Randy was lucky to get that position is the first place. Hell, it’s well known Ron Pearson chewed out Randy I front of other management for not having a game plan, at all. Looks like nothing has changed. I do not know one manager in any dept or in grocery that likes what is going on. Not one manager will stick up for Randy because they know he s—s. But, the board of directors, all his yes men, are too afraid to tell their boss he’s making bad decisions, and now we get blamed for it and lose money while this jerk probably has a golden parachute waiting for him after he sells PDI or Dand D and makes his real money. If none of this is true, then corporate needs to set the record strait, their lack of communication is without a doubt leading to this ship sinking hard. My manager told me today I don’t have anything to worry about, but that maybe I should start looking elsewhere. CORPORATE, don’t give us bs slogans or stupid metaphors, tell us what is going on and the plan to fix it. We deserve that as an employee-owned operation.
