Salaried Profit Sharing 2020

Most people in EPE has not heard anything about the salaried bonus this year, however , the benefits site ask you to pick an option if you want your bonus money invested in 401k, payout date listed is 13 March. Does anyone know if Ford is going to pay any bonus to salaried PD employees? UAW is getting $6600 checks as per news.

Anyone know if former employees separated under SRD be recieving profit sharing considering they contributed in 2019?

@tuf+13OfoWBa Have you participated in the new process post SRD? Because it is exactly as described by @kbj. There is no longer a formula and suggested amounts. The process is completely new.

Could you please explain what is a 5 and what is a 6 with regards to ratings?

I have heard of numbers used for ratings, but I have not seen them. I have never been told my number.

@kbj+13OfoWBa Not sure what business unit you work in. Been here a long time and never done merits or bonus hand outs the way you are describing it. HR uses a formula and up until 2019 the quartile you were in would determine your raise. Granted 5/6's could have carved off 0.5% here and there for TA's but by and large if you are in the 4th qtr of your pay scale you essentially get a smaller % but that $ figure is a result of your base pay.

AICP baseline is 54% of target posted last year. This year, however, you are not guaranteed to get 100% of your 54% cut. The "people leaders" get a pot of money and can choose to spread it however they want across their pool of people. In prior years, amounts were suggested based on your PR rating and you typically got at least the baseline.

Merit is being handled the same way- a pot of money split however the leader wants. I've participated in some discussions and have seen them give some people zero (claim they already make too much) and others get 5%- all regardless as to their rating. HR is not present In these meetings, like in the past, so no one is being held to a standard. And in many cases, these people leaders are new and have never participated in similar comp planning discussions, so they have no clue what to do or how to follow pr ocess.

The new system is more of a popularity contest than ever.
