The documentation they gave to the store managment lists the store number and position being eliminated AND THE AGES OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE BEING LAID OFF!!!???!!!??? what what what??? DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!! They said we lose the severance if we SUE – WELL GUESS WHAT???? they better be ready for some lawsuits anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That other poster said 600 getting let go???? LOOKED LIKE A LOT MORE THAN THAT!!!! TO HELL WITH BED BATH AND BEYOND they are the WORST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED to us at Cost Plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s called disclosure - providing that information shows it was a universal decision ( applied to anyone holding said title) it proves age was not a factor and there was no preferential treatment given with the decision
This is correct, I too saw ages of employees being let go. I was one of them.
My copy of the severance packet did not show who was let go or the ages. Perhaps that was an attachment that was to be removed before giving it to the employee. In any case, I am 66 and was no where near being in a financial position to retire.
