Good post @hzc

I hate when customers act in a way that makes no common sense. For example, I had a customer trying to return a twopack toothpaste and had no receipt - anyhow, she was screaming and yelling but we could not find it in the system as we never sold the item, did not have it in stock and never had it before - go figure

Umm yes, help yourself customer, eat half the box of whatever, bring it back after you ate it and we will gladly give you not only a free box of what you just ate but we will also give you your money back. Makes no sense. If my SUV breaks down after 1/2 spent do you think they would give me my money back and a new SUV. Heck no! But this is what they have told us we need to do to retain our customers. That retains the thieves, not our honest customers. Now our honest customers have to stand behind a line of people returning 1/2 of a pack of razor blades, receipts for meat that was "rotten" , dollar store items that we don't even carry because we have a new PT employee behind CS because we got rid of our FT CS person. Cluster!
