I learned today my AGM was let go last friday. Being part time, and having such a slow period where I live (literally bored enough in the afternoons that I walk around the store and just bs with the other employees which doesnt sound great, but it is so d e a d DEAD that managers dont even bother doing hourly sales updates), I was off for 5 days straight. Came back and he was gone. Genuinely upset by this. I know managers can be loved or hated anywhere and this guy might of been pretty anal retentive, but imho he kept a tight clean ship.
Feels like gasoline is beginning to dribble and someone didn't bother snuffing out their smoke. Fortunately for me, I will be okay if this dumpster fire catches wind. I just feel bad for all of my coworkers who would be put in poor financial conditions. Makes me feel dirty. Best I can do is bring a good atmosphere for them, God and everyone else at all the other stores know how low morale is.
