SS&C hates america. SS&C only likes tax breaks for operating in the us otherwise headquartered in India it would be. Try hiring a us employee its near impossible but hire India employees no problem.

Someone has just forwarded me a social media screenshot. One of the management at DST is heading to India so clearly no reGuard for spreading coronavirus across continents. I find it appalling that in a week when my job was taken from me, to be outsourced to India, that management updates their social media to say they are returning to India, completely insensitive and total disreGuard for those of us who’s jobs are being outsourced to India. Just to rub salt in the wounds, said manager has also updated profile pic to include a famous Indian building. You’d think management would have a little more respect and be more guarded around social media posts like this. Lots of old guard IFDS work colleagues telling her to have a great time, so it’s clear those haven’t lost their roles, or they wouldn’t be so keen to cheer on the Indian trip. It feels we’re just numbers and there’s a complete lack of sensitivity around our jobs being taken on a plane to India and management publicising such on their social media pages,

The meeting was all about the moves of offices to share around the corona virus rather than isolate. They should follow the process of the data centre manager and self isolate as he's professionally done this for 7 years.
Rather than the corona virus they should be more worried about catching a virus on the Win2000 and Win XP boxes that they are dependant on, but, ssssshhhh - don't tell anyone that, especially the clients!

Correct this is UK - Basildon, Brentwood, & Chelmsford have all had a shuffle round so that we can spread the coronavirus between all sites.

This was UK right? What location? DST US (KC) was always shuffling people around, I had 8 desks in 5 years at one point.

I didn't personally, but apparently there's no connection with the people moving buildings and the staff changes, it's totally coincidental and is all about the coronavirus. So it's official, they really are that stupid! What's to say that someone from one office isn't already a carrier and now you've moved them to another office to infect everyone there...well done (slow clap), great way to reduce risk! Oh and 300 posts are going, 100 where the role is redundant and 200 'protected conversations' most of which from technology.

I suspect it's related to the completely unnecessary office move that they've just done to apparently show the manco's that they're doing everything they can to reduce the risk of a mass breakout of coronavirus within the organisation! SERIOUSLY!? I mean are they seriously that r—ded! Are they going to stop people mixing from different offices outside of work? We all use the same public transport and public spaces! I suspect that the real reason for the office move fiasco is they're trying to p!ss people off by making them travel an extra 100 miles a day and pay out for parking etc. so that said people decide to resign, meaning that when the next round of redundancies comes (and it's coming), they won't have to pay out so much! Is this the death of DST...I hope so!
