Thread regarding Jacobs layoffs

A large number people gone in the UK for IT staff/functional. To all IT people who may find or stumble on this message, avoid this company like the plague!!! Clueless leadership especially in the UK who treat there people like scum, one manager/leader said to me and this is true “we will get younger people in and pay them less, that will make me look good with the leadership in the us, sorry I am looking out for me not you” unbelievable but true, came out after a few drinks but it’s true and I believe it. So IT people want to work somewhere where you are not respected and ignored? And want to work somewhere where they will detrain you and beat and smash all your initiative and skills out of you and with a horrible management structure that will tell you to shut your mouth and close the tickets if you try speaking up, then look no further than Jacobs!! A Company that goes through CIO’s at a jokeable rate and company that chews up and spits out hard working IT people, a company who’s middle managers are only in there positions because they are mates with the leadership just horrible and pointless middle management, honestly IT people reading this it’s a massive mess and they have thrown there eggs in one basket and spent millions on a servicedesk that’s based in krakow in Poland who are simply not equipped to handle what is asked by them, but it’s to late for them as they have gone past the point of return and the customer base in Jacobs will stuffer, so Jacobs... where IT careers go to die you have been warned.

Maybe it will help ch hill staffers with excuses for not delivering work. This time it would be legit. GIS will fix it. Send the curly hair dog to toronto.
