Noticed how for that kind every problem is fixable by having another person from the same region? Very disruptive this constant goal instead of getting products out. That’s how others get lay-off when people play those games instead of working
Interesting.... we have one group of people that keeps implying if you stay you are basically an m@ron, just run, and kind of nasty and condescending and another group that that keep matching every post that says run out of the company by saying don’t leave until they pay you for the time you invested in the company...sometimes many years.
Guessing the first is an HR troll or misguided management and the other really acts like a some union rep ...

Yet, somehow, people like GS in melville have managed to survive layoff after layoff, as toxic as he is. Has literally chased the good PMs away. There are very few PMs left who add value at this company.
Don’t quit without a package, you’ll loose a lot. Then also make sure to take unemployment as you look for a job. Rezi hates that and would prefer you quit.The point it... don’t let them drive you out of the company by those trolls like the one that just posted it. This is certainly not coming from someone out laughing about their fellows.

They aren’t able to meet any deadlines and go into mucho cost overruns because the “project” was badly planned from the start...
PM issue, but as usual PM(s) blames the teams... easy is it? and as the “project” takes on water any BS goes....and They get to play firemen... (we saved the project when they could have prevented issues many months ago) we should really hold those guys accountable not for socializing to climb up but for the actual plan and work. Manage a project - accountable . Director above the project managers and the project fail: director accountable. Enough of blaming managers when a director (or Sr director) is above them
Accountability is for everyone -as long as we keep accepting excuses (Like I wasn’t there before or I just got it)
If you have that project for 2+ months you’re not new, you’re accountable. Enough BS!
People don’t understand agile and general development or hardware teams working together ... PMs are dinosaurs from the past still stuck in waterfall and adding unneeded waste. Is that all they have to warrant their high salaries? Many projects run without anything needed from those “P” managers.
What’s your degree in? I suppose QA from BLR? Lol.
Dismiss the PMO? How rich! Honeywell and Resideo are never able to meet any planned timelines even with the best of project managers If doing anything in a timely fashion the right way with minimum risk and staying within budget is important, then you’re going to need the PMO. Half of you can’t even manage your own households.
This is silly... bottom line all those initiatives do not have any delay or any issues in hardware, software and other areas....
Just perfect initiatives.

The reason those are a success and promos should move forward is that the architects and developers managed without needing any PMO (which is the most expensive admin overhead)..if we are serious about agile.. we need to act that way.

Put a competent person(s) to manage all this...
@sfy OP only mentioned things that in the process of being worked on. Which we all know there has been delays. If they can't fix what they currently have, why do we think they will launch a successfully product in Q3?

Like OP says it’s all fixed. Those were not required features. Holding this old stuff to prevent warranted promos is not ok.
Have they fixed the registration problems or even added HomeKit to the T9 and T10? How about making HomeKit actually work on the T5 or T6. If they haven't, I don't see how they can have all that out by Q3.
Honeywell/Resideo knew about these issues since the T5/T6 release before the Spinoff but still can't fix them.
