Reyes Coca Cola layed off 50% of their salesforce yesterday in Southern California. Immediate Termination. No warning, medical benefits cut off at midnight last night. Layoff's also reported at Montebello Equipment facility. Carson and City of Industry distribution centers closing. Many office staff, warehouse workers, Supervisors out of jobs. Managers taking a 10% salary decrease.
I heard Reyes is closing their Carson California branch and have refused to sign the updated contract from the teamsters that should’ve been signed earlier this week!!! Sad that ppl will loose their jobs while i also heard this company is going to ask for a bailout

So just a couple weeks ago KO said they were not laying anyone off. According to yesterday's news, that has changed and 700 have been laid off
