If companies like Kroger can work with news media and outlets to add to the panic, they will. Empty shelves means full wallets. Also adding to the panic will make government act and give more money on food stamps...which in returns goes to the greedy companies who fire managers.
Let's just hope this doesn't turn into a repeat of the 1918 Spanish Flu.
People are overreacting. That’s what the media and Kroger wants. Don’t buy the hype.
The panic on people buying groceries will be good for the company. I wouldn’t be surprised if they needed some of those managers back they let go to help with the increase in customers. Areas that have tested positive for the virus can’t keep many items in the shelf. The downsize is people shop sick infecting everyone around them. Other countries have reported sick residents breaking quarantine to go to the grocery. Maybe hand sanitizers and mask should be apart of the “uniform”.
