No whispers in my area. No weird meetings on my schedule. Is this actually going to happen Wednesday or Thursday?

I was impacted by the layoff on December 4th. There was a "mandatory business update" meeting on my calendar, added around 530am that morning. Coworkers under the same org had the same title meetings, they were being informed about our layoff. My manager learned about my layoff 30 minutes before I did.
During the last layoff waves, some managers were told to cold call employees and not to schedule a meeting on their calendars for the layoff notification. that being said, everyone who is being laid off is generally notified before noon.
If your on the list, you wont get an email for a mandatory meeting until the morning of, or within a hour or two before you are required to attend the meeting.
No whispers yet but CEO posted vid just now on the hub all about how we need to lower costs. After the email last week about “get ready for change!” And the other All employee meeting on the hub sure feels like we are getting buttered up for something.
