The end game is trying to save the company at all cost. HyVee has over extended financially. They have made a lot of expensive changes over the last five year. Those changes have not made a return on investment. It’s finally time to pay the piper and fight your way out of the corner. HyVee has bought themself into a corner with no way of getting out. Remember the 3 P’s. Process ,people and product. Hyvee sales the best product so no problem with that. The people are the best in grocery business. The process is the problem. Fix the process while you still have great employees that truly care about HyVee. Don’t attack the employees and hope that will fix the process because it won’t.
I think there are so many views because we are all waiting to hear the ‘why’ behind all this. You don’t make this many changes over a one week time period without there being an end game to it all. What is the end game and why? And don’t say, because we have to get with the times, that’s a bunch of b/s.
