People are showing anger bc employees are actually very angry at everything going on. Morale is on the floor and people are very upset. Those that can leave will continue to leave.

Guys- why is there so many postings that show anger at trying to have as many employees quit? Looks like a continuation of the hostile environment that was fostered by the previous CTO and garnered speed under the current failure.
This is NOT the way. No wonder now many are focused on what is seen as the center of negativity in Austin.
People reap what they sow for the past year
Come on people, we are all aware of the risk of the coronavirus (maybe with the exception of the US President), but you shouldn't post personal speculation here in hopes of creating panic by employees that are already nervous. The truth is that we all know that this business has some serious issues to deal with, and if there is anything that has the potential to impact the US and global economy that will add additional pressure. All that we can do is focus on our jobs and try to be part of the digging out of this massive hole that our leaders have created for us, and not lose focus by paying attention to things that are completely beyond our control. We all know that 2020 will be a rocky year and for those of us that survive, we will be part of a smaller company on the other side, and for those of us that don't survive I am hopeful that what we have learned through this process will make us stronger for our next role. Good luck to all!!
Remember .... you quit because of those Austin postings you get no severance...
Nothing to do with corona.... lists were made long ago... some projects that are date driven need to be concluded for the next wave of lay-off to be meaningful.
Good point but the flu is not leading Dow to have biggest one day drop in history.
In the U.S. there have been 87,000 hospitalizations for the flu and approximately 4,800 flu related deaths this season. That is the real threat. Wash your hands people.
