I am still waiting for the Fat Man to send out another drunken email from his yacht about how great things are and how grateful he is to all of us little people!! God bless the "job creators"....

Massive layoffs are coming across the entire company and....I heard they are closing the ALPS Denver office.

If the April rumor is factual; does anyone know if the Quincy, MA office would be impacted?

The April layoff I suspect will be the Funds teams in the UK. IT have already been through it and I think for now they're done, but when we got told we was told it would be IT and Funds.

The main reoccurring income has been coming from the BPO Clients. Most of the BPO clients are very unhappy with the recent layoff due to promises that have been broken.

I still work at this place. Looks like many clients will be canceling due to key people they were working with were laid off.

There was no media coverage this time. Somehow they got around the media coverage.

A lot! and they're not done yet! The letters being given to people states they're getting rid of 20+ staff, 20+ 280 by the sounds of things! Seriously...another round in April!? There'll be nobody here in April to make redundant, everyone is currently queuing at the door to get out. Voluntaries are not on the table unfortunately, so I've asked how I can get put in the pool!

I'd like to know this as well. I've only heard directly of about 30, but someone here mentioned 3% which assuming about 10k DSTers, is 300. So that's a pretty broad range obviously; 30-300. What I intend to look for is a comment in the next earnings call about "redundancies/synergies resulting in $X millions savings", then X/100k should be a good number.

Sadly, I have to ask here since media coverage is nonexistent.
