So sick of the stress that comes with working for this company. I know the grass is not always greener, but it just gets worse everyday. Rodney is terrible. He will destroy Kroger completly. Good luck to everyone who is waiting to see if we get to keep our jobs. I refuse to go quietly. Rate me however you want. I know my worth. If this is the end then i will just find another beginning.

Yes something happened. My store lost store manager and asm yesterday and today. Now if out numbers were bad, if we were not making sales i would understand it , but they fired the best managers we had , hard working people.They are going after people who were there for a long period of time because they make more money. Total of 17 mng and asm were fired yesterday and today. So much for taking care of their hard working people. And time will tell that with morale like this cust service will go down too. Because no onr feels like working for someone who treats their employees like that and stabbing them im the back.
I I hate the stress and extended hours for managers working for Kroger!!! And now Kroger lay-offs the managers who worked for Kroger for over 30 years, working all holidays and weekend, long hours ( Kroger officially schedule 50 hr a week for managers and in reality it about 70 hr a week). After giving to Kroger all they life, Kroger lay-off managers at the edge 55-60 regardless of their performance. And not giving managers a good severance package knowing that at edge 60 they are not able to find another job in retail.
This compnay cares little about there employees. It’s a sad day when good managers and assistant managers get let go. The managers that are safe are the ones that have friends/family working at north lake or on the district staff. Working for the company has become a joke and I would advise people looking for jobs to stay as far away from Kroger as you can it’s only going to keep going down hill until there is nothing left.
Dozens of store managers and co managers were terminated at atlanta division today. A couple of stores lost their entire management team.
Did something happen or is this just a general feeling?
