2/26/20 Atlanta Division announced via conference call and email; their threat that more layoffs were coming didn’t scare enough people away (natural attrition) and that they would be firing more people by the end of the quarter (further headcount reduction). As I type this, I worry for the remaining managers as well as the stores that will be left to clean up what’s left.

The package is an amount to pay off your unemployment. You sign a NDA and you are not allowed to talk about it. It is suggested that you do not return to your store and if you do, you are walked in with a staff member and walked out with one. The issue that I see is that a zone manager in Atlanta was allowed to give out grades and graded managers he didn’t like low so they would all be let go. Now he is a store manager after being busted back. I feel for the managers who he didn’t like, who all had to leave the company. 20+ year managers who gave Kroger everything.
Two mngs ,one 21 the other 24 y with Kroger. Both just fired and no package. NEXT ROUND in OCTOBER. Good luck.
I've never known you or your wife to receive a package that you're NOT happy with!
My wife got a package and two mgrs that's she knows confirmed they got packages as well. So your sources are wrong ! We are actually very happy with the package!
They are not giving packages!!!!!! They place the story that the store mng retired yet they wont let them come back to the store. They hold meetings in hotels or restourants and and they just fire them. From reliable source. So NO PACKAGES!

I can confirm they are still giving out packages, but not sure if it’s to everyone or only select workers.
they are still giving some money in package form to people who have so many years with the company, but if they speak they loose their money. If I was only independently wealthy I would go straight to the news.
There were severance packages offered. And retirement. Still s—s that people are being done like this. Again.
Heard from reliable source, no severance package this go around. If I wasn't getting ready to retire I'd tell them to shove it.
Don’t assume being invited to an offsite location means your one of the ones being laid off. My spouse was invited only to be told they were awesome..and being kept. However because this is terrible Kroger - months later they basically pushed my spouse out with PIP and intentionally unachievable metrics. So my spouse resigned. Nashville.
Meetings at Hotels scheduled. Got rid of an entire store in Atlanta. Entire store. Anyone know if they have anyone a package?

In the future will we be able to get a 4 on our peds? Right now you can try your hardest and have great metrics and get all 4s on leadership behaviors and the highest you can get is a 3. I’m to afraid to ask I don’t want to rock the boat.
