Thread regarding Borden Dairy Company layoffs

So much of this is on the new management

We got the management that finances its own exorbitant paychecks by laying off loyal employees who have been here for decades in some cases. Talk about a horrible and shortsighted move! They are letting invaluable knowledge walk out the door - and they are actually pushing them out instead of fighting to keep them.

And if that wasn't enough, they are bringing in their own people as experts who have zero prior knowledge of the industry.

No wonder this company is falling apart.

I heard that on bankruptcy docket 810 Prairie Farms is listed as a bidder. Would they close any plants?

cool. who's buying them though? Their last gasp was trying to form a merger with Deans so obviously when that fell through things got desperate.
