Any more details on the upcoming layoffs?

This Wednesday day is the news on the fate of Finance. Up to a 1000? Or more jobs eliminated or going to India?
They gave us 6 months notice that this was coming, and I’m glad they did rather than it being a total surprise like it was for Tax. I feel bad for those impacted though. There don’t seem to be too many good jobs out there right now.
They said March. Why the hell is the exact day so important? Do you really think they can plan the exact day months ahead of time?
Terrible planning Cardinal! Morale is the worst I have ever seen it.
The March date still isn't know. A large group of people (mainly accounting functions) found out their fate last week, mainly leaving Finance still wondering.
I think it's really cruel not to give us a date right away but let us guess and stress over it for who knows how long.
