You lose weld certifications by not following well known process specifications and quality checks and documentation necessary to assure good welds. Also things such as temperature control and recorded monitoring of post weld heat treat etc necessary to assure non brittle welds
If true, this is really bad and shows real engineering control problems

GE Greenville has lost too many seasoned people. Employees and managers change roles so often they never master anything or stay long enough to face the consequences of their dumb decisions. Also, I’ve noticed the same dumb initiatives seem to cycle every 8 to 10 years.
