Former Employee here - just heard there is going to be a small re-org in Omaha. I think that they are getting ready to sell off one of the sections of business.
The rumors have been going around for a while about selling off Interactive, so that wouldn't surprise me one bit. But maybe they will sell another part. They did just spend all that money re-vamping the signs outside of Miracle Hills and that is mainly Interactive employees.

It is because the execs are soulless demons who could care less how many lives are ruined to get that next stack in their pocket, or get their buddy in the door. That's why they lose sleep at night, fearing of a revolt from the people they hold down.

Layoffs at Intrado have started today in Safety Services. I heard that from someone whose last day is Friday Feb 28, due to a reduction in force.
Not specifically, but I doubt anyone wants to buy the company as is. I think its likely Life and Safety breaks out from the rest.

The new safety services President told us they are actively looking to sell or go public within the next year or so.

These equity firms have ruined my life. I’ve never really recovered since my lay-off with West. I’m now at another company also equity firm owned that is nothing but toxic to the extreme. I think of nothing but resigning or worse to myself to end how stressed out I am every single day. I can’t even sleep anymore.
