I’m hearing the next round of layoffs is 3/4 Optum is expected to be hit hard. Can someone confirm this? I just moved the the Navigate for Me department under Optum, if other departments are laying off why is this department still hiring?

Clinical ops. Good luck to all employees at will
@7you Clinical Operations.
What departments are hearing of layoffs? Does anyone know what business segments will be impacted?
US "job fairs" and other noise was simply window dressing. it was for low level folks or rackets to extract more money, or empty hopes/empty promises of someday someday. They are not serious and they are simply going through busy theater. It was racket and the only thing to do is grab some popcorn, a drink, and enjoy the excrement show. Onward and downward
They are posting the jobs taking them down and reposting them. I've applied to over a hundred roles since being laid off on the 20th receiving notice on the 6th and I haven't been contacted for an interview for any of them I was with the employer for almost 5 years in four different roles. I even attended an in-person job fair last week with a bunch of low-level not seriously seeking job people and I still wasn't contacted after that.
Maybe if you sang the happy song really loud and with ,enthusiasm they may keep you and give you 1% COLA. Make sure to smile a lot and have theme music during town propaganda halls.
Out teams are going to change as a result of the layoffs of senior management. Only, we have absolutely, positively no way of finding out until they decide to tell us and who knows when this is up will take place.. Possibly the day before?
There are definitely layoffs underway at Optum. Be prepared!
Were you called back to the same department you were laid off from or were you hired for a new position?
I was laid off December 13 but now called back. Starting again Feb 24th
No US employee will be spared. The next major layoff will be the first week in March. Jobs are going overseas.
Do you know if the lay offs are hitting the APC nurse practitioners in the field
Yes march 4th
It’s pretty simple: Some areas of the business still need staffing and they’re being required to prioritize internal applicants and people who may be impacted by layoffs for hiring vs. external candidates.
