Watson Health is expected to RA 40% across all departments by EOQ. 30-90 in play. Also heard several additional RAs across IBM.

The OP was pretty much spot on. Not sure about the 40% since they like to keep RA's a dirty little secret, but WH got hit hard.
This has officially been placed on hold, which is a good thing considering the instability in the economy. When RAs come back around new lists will probably need to be submitted and the process will start all over.
OP is spot on. Will be by end of March and cut very deep.
I work in Watson health and have heard nothing on this so far.
This hasn't been postponed due to the Virus, nor does the lack of follow up information make it untrue. RAs have been with legal for a few weeks now and it's just a matter of time. Given the size, it's not a quick turnaround.
@fing Watson Health has been largely a massive failure. So it's a pretty safe bet.
I read the “excessive” and other comments asking for follow up as calling out the lack of detail about 40% and perceived knowledge about a major WH lay-off. If it happened before, it doesn’t mean it’s on the horizon again.
@8fgg: How is it excessive? Two years ago they laid off half the staff of one of the companies they acquired as part of the Watson formation and even more than that with two other companies they acquired for the same reason.
No layoffs anymore!
Some of this seems to be a bit excessive and designed to troll. If someone has that that much inside info they would have shared it by now. Former employees or conjecture from other posts to not translate to 40% of a business unit.
Any updated information?
Any word on Watson Health layoffs yet?
All, get your resumes updated... you are toasted!
Stop wasting your time hoping you will not get picked for the RA. It is a done deal!
Hear it from someone who got RAed last year... life is infinitely better outside IBM, so heads up people!
Does anyone have any updated info? We have essentially 5 weeks to 1st 2020 EOQ. I've read everything available internally on the RA's. For me, the writing is on the wall. I've been told by friends previously impacted you're "employed" for 90 days, then 30 days severance. That appears to be the pattern in our area,
Any more details on a pending WH RA? Dates? 40% seems high without direct knowledge.
No posted by Ginni the Eagle...
Is this really posted by the former IBM CEO Louis Gerstner?
No surprise there... Watson is the worst AI on the market place these days.

WH just gave a whole bunch of funding to Services to help grow their business. Ha!
If you take away 40% you won't be able to fill an office with who is left. It is mind boggling how a business can be ran like this.
I am shocked and dismayed! IBM layoffs. Really? That is all they know how to do under the Ginni Era. Run IBMers. This place is caustic.
I was not aware there was anyone left in Watson Health. I know they got k–led last round as well.
